Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art emphasizing relaxation, balance, and proper body alignment through slow, graceful movements. It’s often described as moving meditation due to the integration of the mind, body, and breath. Practicing integration in this way makes it easier to carry inner peace and stress management into daily life.
Due to its low impact, Tai Chi is suitable and optimal for all ages and fitness levels. Life Ki-do is renowned for creating a welcoming, nurturing, and empowering class culture for beginners as well as advanced practitioners. All the exercises can be modified to meet your individual needs, so there is no need to wait until you are in better shape.
Classes are taught by Sensei Jonathan on Mondays at 11 am and Wednesdays at noon at our nearby Westlake dojo.
